Harare –The Zimbabwe Council of Churches (ZCC) is delighted to welcome Ms. Thivan Hoang, the United Church of Canada (UCC)’s Sustainable Development and Humanitarian Response Program Coordinator, on her visit to Zimbabwe.
Her visit began in Masvingo Province, where the ZCC is implementing the *Scaling Up Resilience Program (SURP)* in Gutu and Bikita districts, with support from the UCC and the Canadian Foodgrains Bank (CFGB).
During her stay, Ms. Hoang will meet project participants, government officials, and program staff to gain deeper insights into how Canadian support is helping vulnerable communities strengthen food and nutrition security amid climate challenges and other shocks.
The ZCC warmly welcomes Ms. Hoang and wishes her a productive visit. The Council looks forward to continued collaboration and shared learning under the *Scaling Up Resilience Program* as partners work together to empower communities and promote lasting, climate-smart transformation.
