Luke 10:19
19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
Power to overcome
After sending Christ to minister upon the earth, God's intention was not only to liberate us but also to empower believers. Christ's words came after the seventy disciples returned from their mission, where they had cast out demons.
Scorpions and snakes appear in different forms, and their difference from other reptiles is that they are poisonous. According to Christ, even the poisonous situations in our lives will have no effect to those who believe.
Prayer
Lord Jesus give us the power to overcome situations and over all forms and powers of darkness. In Jesus name Amen
