Resurrection Changed Everything

with Major Isaiah Motsi

Gaborone, Botswana

"He is not here! he has risen from the dead! (Mark 16:6b)

These words transformed everything. Jesus who had been the victim became, by the power of the RESURRECTION,  the victor. He defeated sin and death. They thought it was over with the son of God but, it was just the beginning of a new life oder, with Jesus ready to forgive any sinner who believes.

Tables turned and the unthinkable happened.

~ The enemy thought they had won it.

The victim became the victor.

~ Jesus, who had been unlawfully convicted and sentenced to death, became the King on the thrown of power.

The once rejected became the King.

Fear was changed to faith.

~ In faith the men of Emmaus who had asked Jesus to stay with them because it was late then had the faith and confidence to go back to the City by night.  When their eyes were opened,

doubt turned into confidence.

Hopeless situations became hopeful.

~ The disciples and many other believers had their dead hope made alive in Jesus' resurrection.

The despised women became the first witnesses of the resurrection. They also became the first to spread the Good News.

Dear friend Christian, there is nothing to fear, instead, there is every reason to celebrate! If there be any Christian celebration let it be the Resurrection. Amen.
