How To Bath Properly
with Lynne - Chinyoka Musiyiwa
Today we learn how to bath properly. I'm not an expert yekugeza, but I'll impart what I've learnt.
1. We start off by washing our faces, soap your face and wash (will prepare a facial wash lesson in depth for another show)
Gezai kumeso first mvura ichiri yakachena.
Also facial wash is encouraged not bath soap.
So if funds permit buy yourself facial soap.
2. Wet your whole body with water and soap it.
Here we're applying soap directly to our skin and not on the towel. Make sure the whole body has received enough soap.
3. Take your Dombo (pumice stone) or bathing gloves kana even chisaga chemaOrange chiya and start kukwesha. Yes scrub your whole body.
4. When done rinse, take your towel pour water on yourself and make sure tsvina yese yabva.
5.Take your soap again and apply.
This time you only going to apply a little because when skin is clean inokasira kubata sipo.
Apply to full body and massage body with the soap.
This is to make sure you remain fresh for the rest of the day.
So repeat the same process soap yourself scrub and rinse for the last time haaa now even furu racho rakubuda rachena.
6. Ladies get clean water and wash privates. Use feminine wash if you have if usina just clean water is fine.
7. Pat dry skin with towel.
Bathing is done👏🏾👏🏾
Make sure you are dry especially in between your toes, legs, and bottom to avoid kasmell kehunyoro.
8. Always apply rollon first some sweat easily and quickly so before you start sweating apply it to clean armpits.
Lastly but most importantly Apply skin moisturizer of your choice and start dressing up.
Additionals:
~If you have bath salts add them to mvura yekugeza iyoyo right before you start bathing.
~You can also add a teaspoon or 2 of soda to bath water once weekly. Soda inobvisa hudzi...it gets rid of natural odor.
~If using bath gloves or other scrubs remember to kwesha tsoka nedombo to get rid of dead skin.
Lastly please, don't forget to wash your ears and nose the inside and outside.
