"A froward man soweth strife: and a whisperer separateth chief friends," Proverbs 16:28 (KJV).
Human beings cannot do without friendship because it is inherent in the human nature. One can observe that human beings love to be in company with one another; this makes it important to choose the right kind of friends and maintain the bond of friendship. To be able to maintain the bond, you must look at the things that could threaten your relationship and those that can strengthen it. The opening Scripture mentions gossip as one of the things that can destroy friendship, “A contrary person spreads conflict,
and a gossip separates close friends” (CSB). Contrary people and gossips are dangerous to relationships, hence, avoid them and keep friends who are truthful and seek the welfare of others. May the Word of God guide you to keep the right friends around you. Hallelujah! Be Friendly!
