Cameroonian Star Saves Day For Dembare

Dynamos coach Tonderai Ndiraya believes the sending off of Godfrey Mukambi affected them as the team looked set to dominate  play in their 1-1 draw against TelOne on Sunday.

The Glamour Boys finished the encounter with a man short after Mukambi received a red card on minute 66 for an alleged foul language towards the referee following an incident which involved a TelOne player.

“In the second half, we pushed a bit more, but the disciplinary issues disturbed us. I don’t know what transpired but I suspect it was a case of descent and we had our player dismissed. That’s bad especially when you are in a situation like this.

We had gone for four games without a win, and you have players behaving like this, putting pressure on your team.

Credit to those who remained, they played for over twenty minutes with a man down, and that’s not an easy job,” said Ndiraya.

Dynamos went to the break trailing after Munyaradzi Mawadza deflected the ball past his goalkeeper on the stroke of half-time.

Cameroonian Vincent Mbega equalised ten minutes into the second period, curling home a free-kick a few yards from the edge of the box.
