The Zimbabwe Council of Churches (ZCC), in collaboration with the UK Government, the Government of Zimbabwe, and private sector stakeholders, hosted a Returns, Reintegration, Economic Empowerment and Social Integration Exhibition in Harare on 15 October 2025.
The one-day event was part of a broader initiative aimed at supporting the sustainable reintegration of Zimbabweans returning from the United Kingdom, in line with the Government of Zimbabwe’s whole-of-government, whole-of-society approach.
The exhibition brought together individuals at different stages of their reintegration journey to showcase their projects, share experiences, and engage in peer learning and mentorship. It also provided opportunities to connect with private enterprises, government departments, and development partners, all of whom were represented at the event.
Participants shared personal stories and explored how various services can foster recovery, strengthen community ties, and offer lasting solutions for returnees rebuilding their lives in Zimbabwe.
The event reaffirmed the shared commitment between ZCC, the UK Government, the Government of Zimbabwe, and private sector partners to ensure a dignified and sustainable reintegration process for Zimbabwean citizens returning from the UK.
