The Mega 8 All Night Prayer Extravaganza held at Glamis Arena last Friday was a resounding success, drawing a record crowd of more than 40,000 worshippers.

The event, hosted by Daughters of Virtue, an interdenominational prayer group affiliated with the Evangelical Fellowship of Zimbabwe (EFZ), brought together believers from across the globe for a night of prayer, worship, and spiritual revival.

In a statement, the organisers expressed gratitude for the overwhelming turnout and powerful move of the Spirit:

"Friday night was a special day for Daughters of Virtue as we hosted the Mega 8 All Night at Glamis Arena. The atmosphere was electric. People started arriving as early as 10 a.m., and by 8 p.m., the arena was filled to capacity with over 40,000 attendees," read the statement.

The gathering attracted international participants, with delegations from 12 nations including the United Kingdom, Mozambique, South Africa, Botswana, and Malawi. Daughters of Virtue operates in 26 nations, underscoring its growing global influence.

"We are truly in awe of what God did at the All Night Prayer gathering. We witnessed people being ministered to, powerful praise and worship by Dorcas Moyo and Takesure Zamar, and fervent prayer led by Prophetess Chikuhwa, Prophet Bruce, and Apostle Toga. It was an unforgettable night of spiritual breakthrough," the group added.

Guest ministers from Nigeria, Minister GUC and Minister Ebuka, led worship sessions that moved many to tears, while Bishop Isaac Oyedepo and Apostle Orokpo delivered the main sermons, which culminated in moments of healing and deliverance.

"We saw people healed from chronic illnesses and others delivered from various afflictions. Mega 8 may be over, but the memories and spiritual impact will last forever," said the organisers.

The Mega 8 All Night Prayer Extravaganza has now cemented its place as one of Zimbabwe’s largest annual faith gatherings, uniting thousands under one roof in an atmosphere of worship and divine encounter.
