A respected Masvingo-based cleric, Apostle Brian Mutangi, has died.
According to sources close to the family, Apostle Mutangi passed away at a clinic in the city of Masvingo on October 28. He had served faithfully under the Covenant Faith Ministries before later moving on to pursue other ministry work.
A senior pastor in Masvingo, John Mamutse, paid tribute to the late apostle, describing him as a committed servant of God whose contribution will be deeply missed.
“You have left a gap very difficult to fill up, my brother and Apostle,” Pastor Mamutse said. “You did your best in the space of time the Lord gave you and the specific purpose or assignment He gave you to do. Rest in peace, dedicated soldier of Christ.”
Members of the church community in Masvingo expressed shock and sorrow at the news, remembering Apostle Mutangi as a humble and passionate preacher who dedicated his life to spreading the Gospel. Funeral arrangements are yet to be announced.
