A Special Tribute To Apostle Brian Mutangi...

By George S. Mkandawire

Today I mourn the passing of Apostle Brian Mutangi, a man I trul

y loved.

I first met him many years ago when he was my student in Mutare, Zimbabwe. From the very beginning, he connected deeply with my teaching and embraced me with honour and affection. He was not only a father to many—he was my intercessor.

He saw things concerning my future that no human had told him. He warned me of battles I was about to face. He discerned the closing of seasons in my life and ministry with such precision. I learned to trust his voice because it was pure and accurate.

I was no stranger in his home. We laughed together and enjoyed fellowship, but above all, we shared the Word of God with passion. I often called him “Grandfather of One” because of the great joy he found in having one grandson.

Apostle Mutangi, I remember your prayers, your love for souls, and your unwavering courage—even when you faced criticism simply for standing with me.

Thank you for a life well lived. I am forever grateful that our paths crossed.

Soldier of the Most High, rest now. You have fought the good fight.
