Evangelical Fellowship Brings Living Water to Epworth Community

The Evangelical Fellowship of Zimbabwe (EFZ) has reaffirmed its commitment to serving communities both physically and spiritually, saying the provision of clean water is an act of Christian love.

Over the weekend, with support from Diakonia, EFZ drilled a borehole and installed a water kiosk for residents in Matombo, Epworth, as part of its broader humanitarian mission.

“Water is life, and as believers, we are called to be channels of God’s grace,” EFZ stated. “Providing clean, safe, and portable water is not just a health necessity; it reflects Christ’s teaching to care for the least among us.”

The fellowship emphasized that access to water is fundamental for human health, economic development, and social well-being, echoing John 4:14, which speaks of the living water that never runs dry.

Through initiatives like this, EFZ continues to demonstrate faith in action, meeting both physical needs and pointing communities toward the ultimate source of life.
