Ruto Calls for National Unity and Shared Prosperity in Meeting with Church Leaders

Nairobi – President William Ruto has called on Kenyans to remain united and resist any attempts to sow division along tribal lines, emphasizing the importance of collective focus on national development.

Speaking on Tuesday at State House Nairobi, where he hosted over 600 leaders from the African Independent Pentecostal Church of Africa (AIPCA), President Ruto reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to inclusive governance and socio-economic progress.

“We must all work together to unite our nation and reject any attempts to divide us along tribal lines. Let us stay focused on our shared development aspirations, which promise inclusive growth for all,” said the President.

He added that the government remains open to collaboration with leaders from all political affiliations to address the pressing challenges facing the country. “As a government, we remain committed to working with leaders across the political spectrum to confront the challenges facing Kenyans and to implement programmes and projects that fast-track our country’s socio-economic transformation,” he said.

The AIPCA delegation commended the President for engaging with faith-based institutions and reaffirmed their support for national unity and development. President Ruto’s remarks come at a time when his administration is ramping up efforts to implement key infrastructure and economic reforms across Kenya.
