The Zimbabwe Council of Churches (ZCC) and Christian Aid are calling on all justice seekers and concerned citizens to join a critical conversation ahead of Africa Day 2025. A Pre-Africa Day Dialogue will be held on Wednesday, 21 May 2025, from 09:00 to 12:00 hrs, centering on the year’s theme: "Justice for Africans and People of African Descent Through Reparations."
This virtual event aims to amplify voices across the continent and beyond in a discussion that matters deeply — the pursuit of justice through reparative measures for historical and ongoing injustices faced by Africans and people of African descent. The dialogue will offer space to reflect, engage, and propose actionable steps toward reparative justice, with participation from church leaders, youth, activists, and development partners.
