*UNDERSTANDING THE ACTS AND WORDS OF JESUS CHRIST (95)*

_Taking her by the hand He said to her, "Talitha cumi," which means, "Little girl, I say to you, arise." And immediately the girl got up and began walking (for she was twelve years of age), and they were immediately overcome with amazement._ (Mark 5:41-42). The New Testament records Jesus raising three people from the dead before He Himself rose from the dead. The three people Jesus raised from the dead were the widow's son of Nain (Luke 7:11-17), Jairus' daughter above, and Lazarus (John 11:1-44). When Jesus raised these three people, they were not resurrected into their glorified bodies. However, when Jesus rose from the dead, He was resurrected into His glorified body. The same body Jesus died in was the same body He was raised in; however, it was His resurrected, glorified body. The three people Jesus raised from the dead were not raised in their glorified bodies.

Romans 6:5 tells us, _"For if we have been united with Him in death like His, we will certainly also be united with Him in a resurrection like His."_ All people who have placed their faith in Christ will be resurrected at the time of Rapture into their glorified bodies (1Thessalonians 4:13-18). Believers who have already died are presently in their heavenly bodies; however, when the Rapture of the Church occurs, they will be raised and transformed into their glorified bodies. Believers who are still alive at the time of the Rapture will not have a heavenly body as they will only be transformed into their glorified bodies. Heavenly bodies and glorified bodies each have their own splendor (1Cor 15:35-58).

Jesus' resurrection was His glorified body, not a heavenly body. As of right now, Jesus has the only resurrected, glorified body. That's why He is the First Born. The Lord Jesus raised the widow's son of Nain, Jairus' daughter, and Lazarus to demonstrate His divinity. If Jesus was a mere man, He would not have been able to raise the dead, and later on He Himself rise from the dead glorified.

*EXCELLENCE KEY* 🗝️

_No matter how dead the situation may be, when the resurrection power of Christ touches it, life will return and flourish._
