Tuesday showers of blessings come from Colossians 1:9-10 "For this cause, we also, since the day we heard this, don’t cease praying and making requests for you, that you may be filled with the knowledge of HIS will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, that you may walk worthily of the LORD , to please HIM in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of GOD,"
The reason referred to here is spiritual and physical thus their faith and love for saints. Because of that, Paul and his core-workers never ceases to intercede for them. They are even going further in their prayers and ask GOD to fill them with knowledge of HIS Will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding. Why this request? Because Paul wants them to walk worthily of the LORD, pleasing HIM and bearing fruit in every good work and also increasing in the knowledge of GOD. When we look at this Scripture from all angles on one side as saints, we need to demonstrate our faith and love. We also need to be filled with knowledge in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, and walk worthily of the LORD, bearing fruit in every good work. From another angle it needs someone taking responsibility of prayer. Therefore, you need to stand in the gap like Paul and pray for saints. We need each other, we need to pray for each other. Be there for each other. Amen.
