Thursday showers of blessings come from Philippians 4:4 "4. Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 5. Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near."
Paul focuses on constant rejoicing regardless of challenges around him. When Paul wrote these words he was a prisoner in Rome, for he had been wrongfully arrested for some time. Previously he had been involved in shipwrecked on the way to Rome and he was bitten by a snake, and he was left under house arrest for two years Read Acts 27:39–8:16. We can all see that he had every reason to complain, yet he focused on rejoicing. Its so encouraging to see that his teaching and example provide an amazing model. We all have own challenges in our spaces but be encouraged to rejoice in the Lord despite difficult situations, just as Paul did. Amen
Blessings and Shalom
