_"And Jesus said unto the centurion, 'Go your way; and as you have believed, so be it done unto you' And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour"_ (Matt 8:13). God will do His work in your life according to what you believe. Jesus frequently told people that it was their faith that brought them the healing, deliverance and forgiveness that they needed. On the other hand - doubt and unbelief will hinder, and even stop altogether, the power of God from manifesting to your needs. You will not receive much from God if you look at things totally from the natural, are easily offended by the Word of God and the methods He uses, or if you do not recognize His messengers. Jesus could not do many mighty works in His own hometown because of their unbelief. All they could see was the kid they saw growing up on their streets - instead of the anointed Son of God that He was. They missed Him.
Faith begins where the will of God is known. When you recognize and acknowledge the truth of God's Word and when you align yourself with it, instead of trying to get God to change and do things your way - you will receive your answer and your miracle. God does not move on your behalf because you cry hard enough, but because you have persisted in faith. You are the one who determines your miracle by your attitude of gratitude and your faith in God and His Word. Build yourself in the Word and then rise up in faith and receive your miracle! The centurion did not just sit down with the knowledge he had about Jesus and His word, he did something about it, as far as going to Jesus and demanding for "His Word." The solution is so close to you.
