The third time he said to him, “Simon son of John, do you love me?” Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, “Do you love me?” He said, “Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Feed my sheep.
Do you love me?
The greatest expectation of Jesus Christ was and still is to see His followers executing the Heavenly mandate. The disciples were back to fishing after the crucifixion, and Christ wanted confirmation from Peter ,whether he loved Him.
Jesus said if you love me,feed my sheep. Our love for Christ is demonstrated by how we toil in the vineyard. It is not lip service but real commitment.
Prayer
Lord we come before you to ask for the Holy Spirit to help us work and fulfil our love for God in Jesus name , Amen.
