Don’t Neglect Your Duty!

“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” Matthew 28:19–20 (KJV)

The children of God have been commissioned to spread the good news of our Lord Jesus Christ throughout all nations. Since human beings make a nation, the command is to let every person know the Lord through preaching and teaching.

Those who will receive the gospel and believe in the name of Jesus Christ are baptized and taught to observe or practice everything Jesus Christ had commanded.

This has become the mandate of the church, and every believer in Christ Jesus should get involved. Add to your career your core mandate, which is preaching and teaching the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Don’t neglect your core duty as a child of God by giving countless excuses.

Remember that it is only the work of saving souls for the Kingdom of God that will be rewarded when you appear before Jesus Christ (Romans 14:10–12). May God give you grace to win souls for Christ. Hallelujah!
