Redefining the Family!

“For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.” Matthew 12:50 (KJV)

Jesus Christ is truly the way, the truth, and the life, and no one can go to the Father except through Him (John 14:6).

 Jesus redefined the family in relation to God’s will. Usually, the family is thought of as a group of people who are related to each other. However, Jesus Christ said that whosoever does the will of God is a family.

In other words, the Kingdom of God embraces only those who do the will of our heavenly Father as a family. Dear beloved, if you claim to be a born again Christian and you do not do the will of God, you are not part of God’s family.

This should make us conscious of finding the will of God in His Word every day and to ask for grace to fulfill it. May you continually discover the will of God in the Holy Scriptures and fulfill them to show that you are truly a part of God’s family.
