Points To Note

A true prophet/prophetess is very cautious about the words he/ she brings forth.

Prophets/prophetesses understand the seriousness of the office they hold and the huge responsibility of speaking forth something from God.They never bring forth a word lightly.

For these reasons it is much easier to prophesy to people one does not know, than to one' s congregation, family or friends.

 When the prophet knows the person he is  usually unsure if the word is from the Lord- he will withhold the word and intercede.

However when the Holy Spirit reveals something about someone he does not know, it is easier to be ascertain that the word is from the Lord.
