Do not lose hope

“And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment: For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.” (Matthew 9:20-21)

Twelve years is a long time with such a disease. This woman would have given up on her life. She would have believed that this disease came from God to glorify Him.

After suffering many things of the physicians and spending all she had only to get worse, this woman would have developed a grumbling spirit towards God.

 When this lady saw Jesus, she gathered all her strength and braved the crowd to go and in anyway touch Jesus. This lady said within herself…and that was where her secret was. She spoke to herself.

 What are you saying within yourself? What are you speaking to your heart? Jesus said to the woman that her faith had made her whole. Jesus said that we should have faith in God and that we should say to the mountain to be removed.

 The woman said within herself she did not pray to God. You too speak to the disease or whatever it is in the name of Jesus.

The same Jesus who healed that woman is right where you are.
