Spoken to

Hebrews 1:2

but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world.

The importance of a message determines who speaks to it. God's important message of salvation for humanity has always been passed from generation to generation through his servants.

But due to the urgency and importance, God Almighty has determined in these last days his Son will share his message. This is the only begotten son who is heir of all things through whom everything was created.

But the question is are we taking heed of the message of the son? Are we not behaving like in the days of Noah where we are hearing the message but not being impacted by it. We continue to do as we please with disastrous consequences.

The deep love of God for his creation has made him send his son. He does not want us to perish like the people in the days of Noah. He wants us to live. We ought to listen to and do what the son say. For the son is the sole expression of the glory of God. As Matthew 17:5 says This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well-pleased; listen to Him!

We who have been spoken to by the Son, may our lives never be the same again. May our lives be transformed by the spoken word as we impact the lives around us. God bless
