The Methodist Church in Zimbabwe has officially launched the “Let Love Lead” campaign, a peace-building initiative spearheaded by the Youth and Children’s Ministry in partnership with the All Africa Conference of Churches.
The campaign, unveiled during the Church’s 2025 Annual Youth Conference, seeks to mobilize congregants and communities to embrace love as a unifying force against all forms of violence.
In its call to action, the Church urged members:
“Sevechidiki tiri kuti rudo ngaruve irwo runotisunganidza nekutitungamirira. May we spread the message across our Churches and Communities that we live in. Let's spread the message.”
The campaign also carries multilingual affirmations of unity and love:
Luyando mun’anda yaJesu ngaluvule!
Uthando endlini kaJesu alwande!
Rudo muchurch yaJesu ngaruwande!
Through this initiative, the Methodist Church hopes to foster peace, harmony, and love within families, congregations, and society at large.
