Hundreds Benefit From Free Medical Camp at Gutu Mission Hospital

By Staff Reporter

Gutu Mission Hospital was a hive of activity today as nearly 800 people attended a free medical outreach camp, receiving consultations and medication at no cost.

The programme, led by dedicated doctors and health workers, left the team physically drained but widely praised for their commitment and service to the community. Special recognition went to the Gutu administrative and medical team, including Tatenda Manaka and Ben Olenga, for their role in making the initiative a success.

Organisers announced that a follow-up dental camp is scheduled for next week, also offering free services to the public. Residents are encouraged to spread the word so that more people can benefit.

Meanwhile, efforts to raise funds for an ambulance are ongoing. Donations can be made locally through Ecocash (merchant code: 060884), while supporters abroad can contribute via ride.emascanada.org in Canada and give.cmda.org/emas in the United States.
