Golden Acres Guest Lodge has announced its heartfelt contribution towards the purchase of a permanent church building for the Reformed Church in Zimbabwe (RCZ) – Kwekwe Congregation, marking a significant milestone in the congregation’s journey of faith.
In a statement, the Lodge expressed deep gratitude for the opportunity to support the local church, describing the gesture as part of its ongoing philanthropic mission to give back to the community that has stood by the business over the years.
“Golden Acres Guest Lodge is humbled to have contributed towards the Reformed Church in Zimbabwe – Kwekwe Congregation’s church purchase. This donation is part of our ongoing philanthropic efforts to give back to the community that has supported us over the years.”
The act of giving was inspired by the ethos of meaningful community service, embodied in the quote by author Timothy Pina:
“Philanthropy is not about money… it’s about feeling the pain of others and caring enough about their needs to help.”
The donation will go towards securing a permanent place of worship for the RCZ Kwekwe congregation—a step that is expected to strengthen the church’s spiritual and social foundation for generations to come.
“We pray this small gesture helps build a lasting home of worship for generations to come,” the Lodge added.
The RCZ Kwekwe congregation has long sought to establish a permanent base for its growing fellowship, and this contribution brings them closer to realizing that vision. The church leadership and members have since expressed their sincere appreciation for the support from Golden Acres, calling it a testament to the power of faith and community collaboration.
This donation is one of several initiatives by Golden Acres Guest Lodge aimed at promoting education, spirituality, and community development in Kwekwe and surrounding areas.
