As the Church grieves his passing, prayers have been offered for the repose of his soul and comfort for his family, fellow clergy, religious and all those affected by his death.
"Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen."
