opular media personality DJ Ollah, real name Owen Madondo, has offered prayers and support to one of the survivors of the horrific Seke Road crash that claimed at least 17 lives on Tuesday.

Among the survivors is Nyasha Tanganyika, whose heartbreaking story has shaken the nation. She and her husband were on their way to register the birth of their baby when tragedy struck. In a cruel twist of fate, she is now mourning the loss of both her husband and child.

DJ Ollah, visibly moved, took time to pray with her and offer words of comfort during what he described as one of the most devastating moments he has ever witnessed.

“This kind of pain is unimaginable,” said DJ Ollah. “All we can do is stand with her in prayer and remind her she is not alone.”

The fatal crash occurred near Manyame River Bridge when a South Africa-registered haulage truck heading towards Harare collided with a commuter omnibus en route to St Mary’s, Chitungwiza. Eyewitnesses say the impact was so severe that most passengers in the kombi died on the spot.

The tragedy has left the nation mourning and sparked fresh calls for stricter road safety measures on one of Zimbabwe’s busiest highways.
