Before David stepped onto the battlefield, he arrived at a camp filled with fear. While everyone else saw an unbeatable giant, David saw an opportunity for God to display His power. The spirit of David should also be found in us as children of God. We are not called to focus on the size of our problems but on the greatness of our Heavenly Father.
Because we are born of God, defeat is not our identity. Our Father is always in control, and He goes before us to fight the battles we cannot win on our own. Whatever giants stand before us today, we can face them with confidence, knowing that victory belongs to the Lord.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, strengthen our faith to trust You in every season of life. Help us to see every challenge through eyes of faith, knowing that You go before us and fight on our behalf. May we walk each day in the confidence that our victory is found in You. Amen.
