Tragedy struck the Masvingo City Council community on Sunday when a student on attachment, Nyasha Mutusva, lost her life in a devastating road accident in Vumba, Manicaland Province. Mutusva was on a church mission at the time of the accident.

"We are still trying to come to terms with the loss of our young colleague," said a council official. "Nyasha was a bright and ambitious student who was making the most of her attachment with our building inspectors' office. Her passing leaves a gaping hole in our hearts."

According to eyewitnesses, Mutusva was traveling in a kombi with fellow church members when the accident occurred. "It's a terrible loss, and our thoughts are with Nyasha's family and loved ones during this difficult time," said the official.
