Wednesday showers of blessings come from Philippians 4:10-11 "I rejoice greatly in the Lord that at last you have renewed your concern for me. Indeed, you have been concerned, but you had no opportunity to show it. I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances."
Paul was grateful for the financial help he received, he acknowledged the gift and appreciated the Philippians. But he also mentioned about his contentment in all circumstances. In times of lack, he learnt to be content and in times of abundance he also learnt to be content. The Scripture is revealing that, life present all seasons. Season of lack and season of abundance. The issue of contentment is very important to us all in both seasons. If we fail to be content we generally make bad decisions, we become greedy, and we also loose focus of the core business. Paul demonstrated the matter of contentment, therefore let us pray and ask GOD to enable us to be content in all seasons. Amen.
