But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.

Doers of the word

From Genesis to Revelations the Bible has a record of heroes and heroines of faith, whose life had more action than words. Congregations are full of  "annointed" people who profess to enjoy intimate fellowship with God. The prevalent situation is that the word is more preached and less practiced.

The call to us brethren and sisters is for us to practice the word more and live according to the statutes of the Lord

Lord help us to understand the need to practice the word  in Jesus name , Amen.
