Theme: God's mercies endure for ever
Scripture Verse : Zephaniah 3:16-17 NIV
The book of Zephaniah begins on a note of doom with a prophesy of doom.
The children of Israel had turned away from God.
They superficially worshipped him while in their hearts they worshipped idols and other worldly things.
We are all sinners and have fallen short of his glory.
When God's judgement is pronounced among us, we must listen to him, accept his correction and seek his guidance, this way we shall be able to walk his path and be safe from condemnation.
More often material wealth we acquire on this earth makes us indifferent and oblivious to God's word.
Prosperity can lead to an attitude of pride and self sufficiency.
However, the truth if the matter is that without God our wealth is nothing, only God can redeem and save is.
Today's world is full of contradictions. While God has blessed us with so material wealth it is nothing without God's blessing.
May the Lord cause us to thrive where he has planted us. May we experience His unfailing love grace and mercy.
The Lord’s mighty hand is upon us to accomplish great and mighty things through us.
May He delight in us and rejoice over us with singing.
Prayer
I pray that the grace of God will locate you and be upon you in Jesus' mighty name.
