ACTS OF KINDNESS
_Done in peaceful atmosphere._
_But wisdom from above is first of all pure, It is also peace loving, gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others. It is full of mercy and the fruit of good deeds._
(James 3:17)
This verse is pregnant with goodness and sound acts of kindness. It is one verse that is enjoyable to read again and again. It shows all the goodness that comes from pure and God fearing wisdom. It enables all kinds unlimited, gentle and non selective acts of kindness.
The thought in this text considers yielding to others as opposed to selfish ambition and pride.
The fruits from such conditions are obviously good deeds full if mercy. Every real life loving person would love to be identified with such an atmosphere and would want to be part of such activities and acts of kindness. The spirit of God is leading hence peace and freedom prevails.
_Now the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, he gives freedom._ (2 Corinthians 3:17)
When all this is said and done in good spirit of love, let all the glory be to God the Most High!
