Reverend N Murambadoro Acts 15:4-5 "When they came to Jerusalem, they were welcomed by the church and the apostles and the elders, and they declared all that God had done with them.” The delegates who had been send to Jerusalem to get clarity on the matter of faith in CHRIST plus Jewish culture received a warm welcome. They shared their testimonies to the Apostles. As I reflected on this verse, I am puzzled with some experiences people get when they visit our Churches today. Some are ignored, some are not recognized, some are looked down upon, some are not even greeted especially if you don't possess material things of the world. Pamwe hautomboonekwi. Its sad. We learn from the Apostles that a warm welcome makes one feel a sense of belonging. I want to urge you as an individual to always welcome people new and old. Don't leave it to someone else. Take it as your responsibility. It's simple but it makes one feel comfortable at Church and loved. Remember, some people are suffering rejection in their backgrounds. If they are welcome, they feel accepted, loved and develop a sense of belonging. Amen. Blessings and Shalom Rev and Family
