Humility. ..

*"‘Who can ever reach us way up here?’ you ask boastfully.* But even if you soar as high as eagles and build your nest among the stars, *I will bring you crashing down,”* says the Lord." Obadiah 1:3‭-‬4 NLT

*"Building your nest among the stars without wings and support of God leads to a sure downward crush. Get down from your high horse!"* 

*"What you don't own, you owe by default. We own nothing in this world hence owe everything. So let's be humble."*

*NOTE:* God will crush the proud who think and behave as invincible and immortal gods.

 Such, think they are ontop of the world and untouchable due to their *'horses'* of riches, budding careers, attained positions, promotions, great businesses, high knowledge, prowess, talents, gifts, skills, political powers and the rest.

 They therefore walk on everyone with no regard to  their fellow human beings. Such boastful characters shall be crushed from their source of pride by the Lord.

 What makes you proud? Pause, reflect and eliminate any identified feed of pride. Beloved, never boast and boss around. Be humble and get down from any high horse to avoid the crushing hand of God.

*Prayer:* Eternal God, make me humble!

May God make us and keep us humble. May we walk in the consciousness that we don't own anything but owes everything to keep us humble in Jesus Name. Amen.
