Take care of your family

"If anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for his immediate family, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever." 1Tim.5.8

This verse is a direct attack on some Christians who neglect their duty of taking care of their families. You cannot make yourself a christian by claiming to be  one. Christianity is practical. It is how you live and what you do that makes you a christian.

No matter how much you may pay your tithes, care for the widows and orphans at your church, if you're neglecting your immediate family, the bible says you're worse than an unbeliever.

Despite the economic hardships and financial challenges try as much as possible to provide for your family.

No condition is given here. Whether you are in agreement or not, whether they are Christians or not, take good care of them otherwise you will be condemned to an unbelievers position.

Christianity is first reflected within your family just like it is said charity begins at home. It is the love and care you extend to your family that should overflow to other people in the church and beyond.

Neglecting your family is just like denying Christ because the bible says you have denied the faith.

Take care of your family.
