Obedience pleases God more than sacrifice. The children of God thought they could bribe God through the many sacrifices they offered to God. They disregarded the Word of God and chose to offer huge sacrifices to God in an attempt to please Him.
God made it plain to them that He preferred obedience to sacrifices, “Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow” (Isaiah 1:17).
Dear beloved, learn to enhance your relationship with God through obedience to His Word. Avail yourself for Him to use to reach the oppressed, poor, and vulnerable in society. He wants to partner with you to make the life of others beautiful; this can only happen if you live in total obedience to Him.
Without obedience your sacrifices will be in vain; they will be rejected. May you always choose obedience over sacrifices. Hallelujah! God Bless you.
