From dust we came. To dust we return. But in between, we are called to transformation. Between our first breath and our final one, we are given the sacred chance to love more deeply, to walk more humbly, to become more like Christ.
This Ash Wednesday, as ashes mark our foreheads, may grace mark our hearts. May what is fragile in us be strengthened, and what is broken be restored. Let us return to the Lord with all our hearts not out of fear, but out of longing for renewal.
