THANKSGIVING
_Come back and say; "Thank you."_
Like 17:1-19
_One of them, when he saw that he was healed, came back to Jesus, shouting, "Praise God!" He fell to the ground at Jesus' feet, thanking him for what he had done._ (vs15-16)
As the year comes to a close, looking back, one can not help reflecting on past experiences. You went through good, the not so good, successes and failures, ups and downs of 2021. If you are reading this article, you are still alive and, that is reason enough to appreciate God.
Why not come back and thank him for the gift of life?
It is important to come before the Lord worshipping him with Thanksgiving as you move towards the close of the year. Jesus healed ten lepers who were considered unclean and not suitable to reside with healthy people.
But Jesus met and made all of them clean. We hear of only one man who, upon realizing that he had been healed, returned immediately to say thank you to Jesus.
This week's series will take a closer look into this man and the other nine.
_Fit yourself somewhere in this interesting thanksgiving story. Will you disappear with the nine or, you will come back with the one. Follow, learn and be blessed._
Amen
