Power of true love

showers of blessings

 Reverend N Murambadoro

Acts 12:12- "When he, at a glance, became aware of this [comprehending all the elements of the case], he went to the house of Mary the mother of John, whose surname was Mark, where a large number were assembled together and were praying."

When Peter had been freed, the first thing that came into his mind was to go to the house of  Mary the mother of John. There, at Mary's house, Christians were gathering at night and were praying together.

What we see here Peter demonstrating, was the kind of relationship prevailing among them as Christians and the relationship of Church with GOD. Peter felt it important to go and share his testimony first with Brethren before he went anywhere.

Secondly we see the Church demonstrating true love for one another and unit in prayer.

Peter was faced with death, but the Church was praying unto the LORD until the very last hour. If we reflect on us as the 21st Christians, what kind of Church are we? What kind of Chriatians are we? Do we match these standards? Do we really have genuine love? Do we really share as Brethrens our testimonies Or tozongohwa nemakauhwa?

Are we really united as one Body or we have clicks divisions in Church? It is my prayer that, the Church needs to reform and begin to demonstrate love and unity to the world. Amen.
