With God All Things Are Possible

Friday showers of blessings come from Ezra 1:3-5 "Whoever is among you of all his people, may his God be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judah, and rebuild the house of the Lord, the God of Israel—he is the God who is in Jerusalem.

 And let each survivor, in whatever place he sojourns, be assisted by the men of his place with silver and gold, with goods and with beasts, besides freewill offerings for the house of God that is in Jerusalem.”

Then rose up the heads of the fathers' houses of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests and the Levites, everyone whose spirit God had stirred to go up to rebuild the house of the Lord that is in Jerusalem."

The LORD commanded Cyrus King of Persia to build, rebuild or restore the Temple in Jerusalem.

 What's amazing with GOD is that when GOD'S time was up, and HE wanted HIS Temple to be built, HE used the oppressor Cyrus.

I have few lessons. With GOD all things are possible.

 Israel had no hope of returning home after 70 years in exile. In the fulness of GOD'S time, it happened.

 Whatever you see as impossible, you feel hopeless, discouraged, unonzwa kuzvinetera, just trust GOD and HE will do it.

The other thing is, when GOD commands something to happen. Even those not directly executing the task have a responsibility to support financially where possible.

 Those, whose heart were stirred had to receive hold and silver to support the construction of the Temple.

 GOD never threw money from Heaven, HE commanded that it come from people.

For a very long time, there are Christians who has been failing GOD when it comes to support the work of GOD with their money. May it be your resolution for 2020 to serve GOD with your possession.
