Wednesday showers of blessings come from Colossians 1:24-25 "Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and fill up on my part that which is lacking of the afflictions of CHRIST in my flesh for HIS Body’s sake, which is the assembly, of which I was made a servant according to the stewardship of GOD which was given me towards you to fulfil the word of GOD,
GOD has HIS Will and Plan for everything that happens. Nothing happens by chance. When sons of Zebedee ask JESUS to sit on the right and left hand in HIS Kingdom, HE told them about the sufferings Paul has been going through. Now Paul understood this, that's why he rejoiced in his suffering. This level of rejoicing in suffering is only possible to genuine mature Christian. It is my prayer that the LORD enables us to mature to this Spiritual level, so that we find joy in serving GOD regardless of sufferings and challenges that come against us. Amen.
